The Muratelle, a cozy holiday house obtained from the extension of an old Tuscan farm, is located at the top of a hill gently sloping down towards the sea into a beautiful valley. The ancient building, built in the early 1800s by Grand Duchess of Tuscany Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, was bought by the family Paladini in November 1962 and subsequently renovated. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and dense Mediterranean scrub it is only a few hundred meters from San Carlo, a small hamlet part of the town of San Vincenzo. Its position allows guests to admire both San Vincenzo, just 3 kilometers away, and the whole of the southern part of the Cornia Valley. Located approximately 140 meters above sea level , the area enjoys a particularly favorable climatic condition. Looking towards the horizon you can easily see the North coast of the island of Elba, the island of Capraia, part of the Gulf of Follonica and, on sunny days, you can even admire the outline of the Corsica island. The Muratelle is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in the countryside and can offer unforgettable moments in every season thanks to the colors and scents of the countryside and of the ocean.
