organic farm house on the tuscany hills just two kms far from the sandy beach and the village of san vincenzo

L’Agave farm is located deep in the green hills of Tuscany only two kilometres away from the little town of San Vincenzo surrounded by peaceful countryside full of olive trees and with panoramic view of the sea. Our 22 hectares produce fruit, olives and wheat, all strictly organically grown. Starting this year, we have a special breed of pigs called “cinta senese” living wild in the forest. We have renovated our old stable into a shop where we sell our organic produce. Our swimming pool is located on the top of the hill that dominates the valley, and is surrounded by a large meadow. All apartments are on the ground floor and new renovated. Apartments: Single-room apartments: living-room with twin-divan, kitchenette and bath with shower (2 beds). Double-room apartments, type A: living-room with twin-divan, kitchenette, room with double-bed and bath with shower (4 beds). Double-room apartments, type B: living-room with kitchenette, room with double bed and a room with two single-beds. The rooms are not separated by doors. Bath with shower (4 beds). Three-room apartments: living-room with twin-divan, kitchenette, room with double bed, small room with two single beds, bath with shower (6 beds). All apartments have their own access to a terrace and are well equipped with tables. The L’Agave farm is located close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany. From the long sandy beach of San Vincenzo at the Gulf of Baratti, to those at Punta Ala and the island of Elba. This is the centre of a large area of art and culture. Only a few kilometres away is Populonia with it’s fascinating Etruscan necropolis, and Siena, Volterra, Pisa, San Gimigniano and Roselle. And just 5 kms away are the hot thermal baths of Calidario, noted for their sulphur water springs. Also a short distance away, and passing Castagneto Carducci and Survereto, lies the Wine Road, along which are produced some of the best red wines in Italy (Masseto Grattamacco, Sassicaia, Tua, Rita…) From the 1rst of June to the 15th of September the restaurant “Il Bucaniere” in San Vincenzo is open. You can also rent a windsurfer on the private-beach and they offers you lesson for windsurfing. During the year, by good weather conditions, we go out for angling. The kind of fish is dependend from the season. We angling with different methods.
